I was born and raised in Manchester, NH. I currently reside in the lovely little town of Bedford, NH with my husband and our Boston Terrier. I'm a true summer girl at heart. Growing up, I spent my summers with my family boating on beautiful NH lakes or renting a house by the beach. I'm happiest with a book in hand and body of water nearby. I love nature walks, fresh blooms, crystals, crafting macrame & more, a good glass of wine, essential oils, sunsets and time well spent with family and friends. My daily rituals consist of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, journaling, smudging, and a cup of green tea and honey. I'm into astrology. Laughing is life, dancing is a gift, art is your true nature.
What to expect in my class
Yoga is not one size fits all. We all live in different bodies. We all have different ranges of motion therefore everyones practice looks different and thats ok. Same goes for any other type of physical or spiritual practice. Alongside an extensive background in Anatomy & Physiology that I entered the fitness industry with, I approach my teaching using what I call Intuitive Wellness. After being fully informed of each individual's needs, I use that information to mindfully lead each student in their own individual practice. Whether it be by mindful hands-on adjustments, sensing the client that needs a little extra motivation, the client seeking words of wisdom to overcome stressors and anxieties, and leading students during classes by being able to observe where that range of motion begins and ends. While communication is key, I am sensitive to picking up on the energy my students bring in. Often times, students don't know exactly what they need or seek until they are led in the right direction. Proper form and alignment, safe practice and not taking yourself too seriously are very important to me as a teacher. Have fun! While I enjoy being creative in my class sequencing, I like effective, mindful class sequencing that focuses on mobility and flexibility. I enjoy creating class themes using the moon phases and seasonal shifts that affect us as a whole in order to balance the body, mind and soul. Every class feels different.
